As a Staff and Family Consultant with the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, Specialty Athletic Training will guide caregivers, support staff, and family members on how to help individuals with disabilities lead healthier and fuller lives. Our approach includes:

• Monitoring your health, medications, and any changes that may occur
  
• Identifying ways to better meet your unique needs based on your preferences
  
• Following a dietician-recommended nutritional plan
  
• Understanding your diagnosis and the common symptoms that may come with it
  
• Sharing ideas on how to best support and interact with you
  
• Developing and maintaining a personalized care plan
